Anass Bali achieves rare CARTE certification

SUPERP colleague Anass Bali has obtained the rare and challenging CARTE certification (Certified Azure Red Team Expert). This makes him one of only about ten experts in the Netherlands. For our customers, this means deeper insights into Azure security, realistic attack scenarios, and concrete areas for improvement that can be applied immediately.

In-depth expertise in Azure security

At SUPERP, we are proud of our colleagues’ achievements. This time, we would like to put our colleague Anass Bali in the spotlight. He recently obtained CARTE certification (Certified Azure Red Team Expert), one of the most challenging and rare security certifications worldwide. For our customers, this means that we are even better equipped to understand complex cloud environments and provide insight into realistic attack scenarios.

Why CARTE is so special

    Where many security certifications focus on theoretical knowledge or ticking off a checklist, CARTE goes one step further. It is an expert-level certification that is completely hands-on. Candidates must execute advanced attack paths and bypass defenses in a realistic Azure environment, as if they were facing Microsoft itself.

    The exam is rigorous: you must score 100% within 48 hours to pass. This makes CARTE not only unique, but also one of the most difficult certifications available.

    Digital sovereignty and real risks

    The choice for CARTE is no coincidence. More and more Dutch organizations, including the government, are moving their data and processes to Microsoft Azure. This increases dependence on a single American party and puts digital sovereignty under pressure.

    Thanks to CARTE’s expertise, SUPERP customers can now see how an attacker could actually move through their cloud environment. Not a superficial configuration review, but a realistic picture of the actual risks. This provides concrete areas for improvement that can be applied immediately.

      Rare expertise in the Netherlands

      In the Netherlands, there are an estimated ten professionals who hold the CARTE certificate. Anass now belongs to this select group. This means that SUPERP has in-house knowledge that is only available in limited quantities on the market.

      What this means for SUPERP customers

      For SUPERP customers, this certificate means that we are even better equipped to:

      • simulate realistic attack scenarios in Azure;
      • perform in-depth penetration tests in complex cloud environments;
      • provide concrete areas for improvement that go beyond standard settings or policies;
      • Support organizations with current challenges such as guest user rights and incorrectly configured security rules.

      In short: we not only map out whether institutions are “on” or “off,” but also show how an attacker could exploit this.

      A journey of perseverance

      Obtaining CARTE certification was an intensive process. The exam required not only technical knowledge, but also stamina and focus.

      The greatest motivation? Directly applying the knowledge gained in practical situations with customers.

      SUPERP: ready for the next step in cloud security

      This certification strengthens SUPERP’s position as a leading partner in IT security. While many organizations are looking to gain control over their cloud environment, SUPERP offers in-depth expertise and the assurance that security risks are made truly transparent.
