A year ago: experimenting with AI
A year ago, Tim Grasmaijer, Senior AI Consultant at SUPERP, wrote a post with a simple message: experiment with AI. Don’t wait for the perfect idea, just play around with it and see what it can do for you.
Tim himself was already using AI back then for writing, conducting analyses, and developing ideas. He was wildly enthusiastic about it and tried to convey that enthusiasm to others.
But building with AI? That was the next step. A step that proved difficult for a long time.
From Stagnation to Breakthroughs
“I’m not a software developer,” Tim says. “For a long time, I kept getting stuck with AI coding tools whenever I tried to create something useful.”
Until, in recent months, it suddenly started working. This is mainly due to the rapid pace at which AI coding tools are improving, such as Claude Opus/Sonnet 4.6 and Codex 5.4.
Now Tim builds small projects for himself. A comparison site for finding vacations. Dashboards for his charging station and solar panels. A personalized AI news feed.
No production-ready apps. Just: things that work. Things he could never have created without AI.
The most mind-blowing moment
Then came the most special moment. Tim made an improvement to an open-source tool he uses. He built it with the help of AI and tested it extensively. He then submitted it to the lead developer,
who was incredibly enthusiastic and adopted it.
“So now I’m a vibecoder,” says Tim.
Addicted to building
“I’ve been hooked ever since. I often can’t put it down and sometimes keep at it late into the evening. It’s hard to explain that feeling. You really get it only once you’ve tried it yourself.”
At SUPERP, we recognize that drive. Consultants who experiment. Who build. Who share what they learn. Who don’t stop until it works.
Not because we have to. But because we can.
Does this sound familiar?
That urge to make things better? To not just use things, but also to build them?
At SUPERP, you’ll have the freedom to do just that.
Would you like to be part of a team where experimentation and innovation are key?
