The first practice of the season
The weather was on our side. The sun was shining brightly. And yet, this was no ordinary run.
Colleagues from De Meern and Eindhoven gathered to train together. Not just any training, but training with care. With focus. With knowledge.
Olaf was at the front. An iamSUPERP member. A triathlete. A physical therapist. Someone who knows what it’s all about.
Why technology is so important
“There’s running, and then there’s running. The difference? Proper technique.”
This is what it’s all about. It’s not about speed in this first training session. It’s not about distance. It’s about movement. About foot placement. About breathing.
Details that may seem small, but make all the difference.
A poor foot strike can lead to injuries. Poor posture can cause back and knee pain. Improper breathing can force you to stop sooner than you’d like.
With the right technique, you can train sustainably. You can train safely. You can train without injuries that force you to stop.
Preparing for big goals
There are two great races on the schedule this fall. The Dam tot Damloop in Amsterdam, one of the largest running races in the Netherlands. Tens of thousands of runners, one day, one route through Amsterdam.
And the Eindhoven Marathon. 42 kilometers through one of the most beautiful cities in the Netherlands.
Two fantastic goals. And our SUPERP colleagues are training to achieve them. Using the right technique. With Olaf as their guide. Together.
Thanks, Olaf
Thank you for your guidance. Thank you for your expertise. Thank you for your enthusiasm.
See you at the next training session!
